Problem with Glimpse 4.1

hello

I'm using glimpse 4.1 to index words from text pages (how strange :)) but want to use a self made program that can process files being indexed (I want to remove some words...).
I can't manage to get it work using the -z option, I always get a core dumped (linux 2.0.x & linux 2.2.x).
my .glimpse_filters looks like
*.whatever /usr/bin/prog1 <
*.foo /usr/bin/prog2 <
...

I've got less than 1500 files to index and if I'm not using the filtering sometimes I get all the files because some words are on all the docs. If i'm using the postfiltering (ie no more with glimpseindex) answers can come after one minute and this delay is too long, the result should come to a webpage.

Please, help me... I'm working on this since one week

PS : I've search for mailing list archive before asking but don't find any
