Re: wginstall hibernating - the solution
No - it's weirder than that.
[1] First off, the sub GuessHttpdConf uses 'ps -a' to scan the
process environment for config file paths. On Solaris, this is pretty
useless. Developers take note !
[2] When wginstall.pl falls into the if block that starts:
# We can't find it in process list, try some common guesses
if ($httpdconf eq '') {
for no reason that I can identify, the script hangs. Best guess is
some OS / hardware problem in trying to access a
non-existent/offline/badly behaved device.
Easily worked around, once you pinpoint it.

Hm - maybe a problem with the local ReadKey module? If you make the
following change
