Since my archive grew > 100 MB glimpseindex was dying frequently although
I made an upgrade. I got no answer to a help request and switched to htdig
(www.htdig.org) which handles my archive without problems. htdig requires
more space for the index but has many configuration options (multiple
archives and languages, customizable html forms). Best of all: It's licensed
under the GNU GPL.
I am still subscribed to this list because one customer is using webglimpse.
