Re: Size of Deny file on Alabanza server & syntax

Hello Jo

The "deny file" is the .wgfilter-index file that should be in each archive
directory. There should not be any limit as to the # of lines in the file,
are you getting some kind of error when it goes over 75 lines?

The syntax is just "Allow" or "Deny" followed by a regular expression
matching the filename. So

Deny (^|/)wgreindex$

just means to not index any file whose name is exactly "wgreindex.php" or ends
with "/wgreindex.php". If you have a good perl book (any of the Camel books)
you can look up the regexp syntax, or see an online reference such as

		http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/helpsheets/regex.html
or
		http://www.ciser.cornell.edu/info/regex.html

Hope that helps!
