fix for some slow searches

Hello WG users

This only affects you if you are having some very long search times, caused
by long files without linebreaks.  (Sometimes, even specifying another
delimiter does not help much when there is not one consistent delimiter for
all your files.)  I wanted to put out a notice because the speed-up was
very dramatic on affected sites.

Basically, if you have this problem, just get Webglimpse 1.7.11, from

It works by cutting the record size down to "maxchars" before parsing the
returned lines from glimpse.  maxchars can be set by the user in the search
form, or it defaults to 10000 characters.  A full discussion of the problem

Please let me know if anyone has problems with the new version, or if it is
helpful on your sites.  In a few days I'll put it out as the official
release version.
