Yes, I'm familiar with wilma though actually I had some trouble installing
it on my system; I wound up using just mhonarc and indexing the archives
manually.

The incremental indexing problem is fixed in version 4.12 and above.  You
can get recent versions of glimpse from http://webglimpse.net/download.html
