Re: Glimpse 4.12.6 beta release



I messed around with the autoconf stuff on a Linux machine, and I have it
working now, or at least it compiles; I haven't actually tested the
binaries it makes. The changes I made *look* trivial, I certainly couldn't
figure out what difference it made. Somewhere in the old autoconf stuff
left over under libtemplate is my guess. Some of that can definitely be
discarded, I don't think anything there still uses paths.h.

Note that this script is currently *broken* on HP-UX. Looks like the same
sort of thing that was causing problems on Linux, but in another file.
Seems to work fine in OpenBSD, though. Reports of success and failure on
other platforms are more than welcome.

This time I just made a patch file, run it through patch -p1 from inside
the glimpse-4.12.6 source tree (if the patch fails make sure you're using 
GNU patch - the stock HP-UX patch couldn't apply it, and gave me an 
"assertion failed" message, other systems might be similarly broken).
