I think I need to document this stuff better - you can do that
automatically by adding
	<INPUT type=HIDDEN name="nonascii" value="Y"> 

into your search string (puts the -z switch on glimpse).  And yes, it is
slow but less so if you can use the shared lib version that Christian
Vogler sent in.

Hm - if you'd like to send me the version you've got, I'll do a diff and
see if I can integrate any of your tweaks into the mainstream version.  No
sense branching if we don't have to!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a doc framework that lets people add
bits and pieces in an organized way?  Maybe we should just use an
interactive FAQ posting & answering system?  I'm afraid there are a lot of
options that most people don't know about, I've not been very good about
documenting them...
