Glimpse and partial matching.

Hello all.  I've been trying to figure out how best to do partial matching
with glimpse.  Essentially I'd like 'ca' to match 'cat' but not 'scat' or
'mcat'.  Nothing seems to be getting me there in a reasonable ammount of
time.  I've tried using the '#' wildcard with -w but that doesn't seem to
work.  I've tried '\<cat.*' but that doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas?  I am a competent C developer so if there's a bug here that I
can fix to solve my problem, please describe it.  I all else fails maybe
I'll see if I can get the -w 'cat#' combo working against the index.

Oh, and btw, what exactly does this mean:

   (Currently glimpse is experiencing some problems with #.)

That comes from the "Wild Cards" section of 'man glimpse'.  What problems,
exactly?
