Translatable module is a different approach on Internationalization and Localization. It is based on the fact that any translatable content in Drupal is input via forms that have been built with the Forms API.
Translation objects are stored as simple strings in the database. Source strings are currently replaced with localized strings using separate translation queries upon view. Any contributed module can make use of this translation method. Retrieving translated strings using db_rewrite_sql() is basically possible, however, not really supported by Drupal core - thus, still CNW.

This module allows you to take snapshots of your site. It turns a Drupal installation into a sandbox that you can use either for testing modules or setting up a public demonstration site for a module / extension / theme (you name it). Whenever you need to reset your site to a saved state a click of your mouse will do so. With cron enabled, a Drupal site can be automatically reset to a chosen snapshot in a definable interval.

This module imports Advogato diary entries to a Drupal website during cron runs with the cron.php file in the root directory.
It allows Advogato entries to be imported as a blog, page, or story node type. Once the administrator sets some basic options, individual users may set the module to import various entries from Advogato to their username. Since Advogato diary entries do not have titles like Drupal does, the import uses the date as the title, in the same format as Advogato shows it in the certification status bar.

Panels 2.0 beta3 has been released. Like beta2, this release is primarily a bugfix release, although some small additions to the API have been made. All Panels 2 users are strongly encouraged to update to beta3. In updating to beta3, you may encounter some errors. Please read #241702: Failed database-update to determine if there's actually a problem with your panels installation - there probably isn't.

The help toggle module prevents the display of help text at the top of pages when "compact" mode is enabled. Drupal displays context-sensitive help text at the top of some pages (most notably in the Administration section). While this text is useful, it takes up valuable screen space and may be less valuable for advanced users.

This is a convenience module for Drupal-based Ajax programming. It returns images attached to a node from CCK Imagefields. An HTTP GET request to a predefined URL format (e.g. node_resource/NODE_ID/CCK_IMAGEFIELD_LABEL/0) returns the image to the HTTP client.
✓ scalability issues have been fixed (The entire rendering process has been rewritten to use the Forms API, which required backporting features available only in Drupal 6. The CSS and JS have been rewritten almost completely as a result of this.)
✓ perfect graceful degradation (Compare JS enabled VS JS disabled. This is actually just a byproduct of the above change.)

Partials are html-based php templates that can be used within Drupal as blocks, full pages, simple pages for ajax load inline, and views module styles.
Drupal inherently provides support for templates within the database for blocks and pages but with Partials you can use template files and can easily move between database-backed or file-backed pages or blocks. Partials definitions can also be cloned, exported to xml and imported from xml.

This module allows Drupal to replace textarea fields with the FCKeditor - a visual HTML editor, sometimes called WYSIWYG editor. This HTML text editor brings many of the powerful WYSIWYG editing functions of known desktop editors like Word to the web. It's relatively lightweight and doesn't require any kind of installation on the client computer.

The Actionkit Project looks at ways of integrating ActionApps (AA) and Drupal. We developed two modules for Drupal that demonstrate integration on the View Level and on the Data Level. Both modules are available for free, licensed under the GPL, and are open for improvements.

Fierce SSO is a Single Sign-On module for Drupal. It is designed so that if users log in to any one of your sites, it will automatically log them in to all the sites in the "network". It works by embedding special, invisible GIF images on the Welcome screen that users get after they log in. These images connect to the other sites in the network and silently log you in.
Fierce SSO is an alternative to danielc's singlesignon module (which minuplates the session tables in the background instead of using invisible images). There is also experimental support for Single Sign-Off (logging uses out of all the sites at once).

Organic Groups Blueprints is a system for creating and managing 'bundles' of 'blueprints' that are attached as OG panels to organic groups. The module is constructed on Panels2 and Organic Groups, and Organic Groups Panels (which is part of the normal OG package). Even if you're already familiar with those modules, OG Blueprints uses some new jargon that you'll need to learn. Because blueprints & bundles are a pretty abstract idea, I've included both technical and metaphorical explanations:
